Amber Norville, LCSWA
Amber is a native of Virginia, and has called many places home as a military spouse. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate who strives to help her clients recognize their inner strengths and empower themselves to achieve their goals.
Amber is passionate about learning new things. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Georgetown University and a Master of Social Work from University of North Dakota.
She has experience working with children, young adults, military families and couples. She has helped clients with anxiety, depression, and life transition issues, including Military life changes and divorce. She has also conducted STEP parenting classes and been trained in the Nurtured Heart Approach, which teaches parents and caregivers to help children nurture their inner wealth and harness their intense behaviors into positive outcomes.
Amber takes an integrated approach to mental health, and works with clients to examine how all of the domains in their lives come together to enhance quality of life, healing, and growth. She works to tailor her treatment plans to the needs of her individual clients and utilizes a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, such as CBT and solution focused therapies. She is excited to help her clients live their best lives.
