Ashly is a bilingual (Spanish/English), Florida native, who has called Jacksonville, NC, home for the past 12 years. She is a fun-spirited therapist who is always ready to tackle the big and hard topics with grace and compassion.
She received her bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and her master's degree from Appalachian State University. Go Mountaineers! Ashly is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate who has extensive experience supporting children, families, and survivors of domestic and interpersonal violence.
With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and systems-based advocacy, Ashly offers a safe, empowering space for individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, and family conflict. She uses a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet her clients' needs and always adopts a strengths perspective to help build resilience and confidence. Ashly approaches therapy with cultural humility and a deep understanding of the impacts of adverse experiences, culture, and diversity on individuals and families. She is committed to fostering resilience and healing by helping clients build on their strengths and restore meaningful connections in their lives.
