Naomi Garcia, LCSWA

Originally from California, Naomi earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, and her Master's degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) in North Carolina.

Before transitioning into outpatient therapy, Naomi worked with the unhoused population, domestic violence survivors, and as a medical social worker, walking alongside individuals and families during some of life's most difficult moments. She has supported patients navigating chronic illness, acute health crises, grief, end-of-life decisions, and the complex emotional toll that medical trauma can take on both patients and caregivers, and other significant life crises. That experience shaped her deeply. She saw how resilient people are, even in times of little hope, and she learned that healing often begins with being truly seen.

Naomi's approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in a strengths-based perspective. She believes that you are the expert on your own life, and her role is to walk beside you with curiosity, compassion, and steady support. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, including perinatal mental health and transition to adulthood, grief, or the weight of caring for others, Naomi strives to create a calm, safe space where you can speak freely, explore what matters most to you, and reconnect with your own inner resources.
