Margot’ is a native North Carolinian who earned her bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her master’s degree in Social Work from East Carolina University. After completing her clinical internships and training at Thrivemind, Margot returned to our team as a licensed provider. Her prior professional experiences include working with the unsheltered population, child services, parenting issues, and couples navigating familial stress.

Margot's work is focused on helping clients navigate relationships and intimacy difficulties, unhealthy familial dynamics, parenting, and identity/self-development. She is also an LGBTQ+ allied therapist who strives to support self-acceptance, healthy boundaries, authenticity, and traumas emerging from living the Queer journey. Margot’ believes in utilizing a holistic approach with clients to enhance their well-being and provides an empathetic environment and safety as they embark on their therapeutic journey.
