
Alicia Snell, BS, RYT
Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
Alicia is a third culture kid who was born in Florida but spent her formative years overseas in Belgium. She is a Navy veteran and graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. Her post military life includes work as a photographer and yoga teacher. Alicia uses her rich background to bring mindfulness and creativity to client-centered counseling sessions.
Alicia is an Intern currently working on her graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University. She is a 500-hr Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance and uses mindfulness and grounding techniques to inform her counseling practice. Alicia uses a person-centered approach to help clients with challenges dealing with life transitions, depression, anxiety, military culture, military family, pregnancy, parenthood, spirituality, and other concerns.
Alicia is supervised under Priscila Norris, M. Psy., LCSW, RYT and is a member of the North Carolina Counseling Association and the Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International.
