Andrew (Drew) Bell, MS, LCMHCA

Psychotherapist, EMDR Provider

Drew is a native Ohioan who moved to North Carolina in 2012 to take full advantage of the benefits of coastal living. As someone who has undergone many changes and transitions in life, he understands how complicated and uncertain life can be. With a background in Social Work, he quickly learned to recognize the importance of helping people embrace the fact that none of us are defined by the barriers we face in life.

Drew received a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Bowling Green State University as well as a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. He is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate as well as a National Certified Counselor with extensive experience in trauma, anxiety, and depression treatment, grief counseling, life transitions support, and counseling LGBTQ+ individuals.

Drew offers EMDR treatment and takes an integrated approach tailored to the needs of each individual client, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. He believes that our experiences help make us who we are but that our past does not define our future.

Drew is currently accepting new clients for both in-person and telehealth therapy sessions at our Jacksonville and Wilmington offices, and offers a flexible schedule to help you incorporate healing into your busy day-to-day life!
