Clinical Intern
Holly is a graduate-level clinical intern, completing her clinical training at Thrivemind. She is pursuing her master’s degree in Social Work at Walden University, working toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in grief and bereavement therapy. She obtained her bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and has an extensive education background in early childhood education and development, and health science. Some of her experience includes family support services, prenatal care, and service to the armed forces in crisis response. She is an Australian native who calls North Carolina home.
Holly aspires to work with clients to navigate difficult life transitions, loss, grief, and bereavement using holistic therapy modalities to assist with the coping and healing process. She believes that when working through the grief process, using a strengths-based approach helps to empower clients to find their healing path. Holly believes grief is an individualized experience that needs time, with no right or wrong way to feel and grieve. Holly provides a warm and empathetic space for clients to feel supported and guided in their therapeutic process.
