Macy Poole, BSW
Clinical Intern
Macy is a graduate level clinical intern working on her Masters of Social Work. She currently lives in Pamlico and has resided there for 7 years. Macy graduated with her Bachelors of Social Work from East Carolina University in 2020. Following graduation, Macy served Pamlico county as a social worker before opting for a more specialized role as a school counselor. She worked with grades k-12 as a counselor and enjoyed aiding students as they navigated through educational and personal challenges. She chose to further her education so she could work individually with clients on a more personal and long-term basis. She has experience working with self-harm, trauma, and sexual assault survivors. She has also worked with both individuals and families. Macy uses a holistic approach and believes small improvements can result in a large difference. She is excited to create a safe environment for her clients to navigate in their therapeutic journey in order to live their highest quality of life.
